By creating an account or using Ambrosia you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. The service
Ambrosia lets you log meals, by photo or manually, and shows estimated nutrition information.
2. Not medical advice
Nutrition values, scores and suggestions are AI-generated estimates and may be inaccurate. They are general information only, not medical, dietary or professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet, especially if you have a medical condition.
3. Your account
Give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and data you add. You give us a limited licence to store and process them to run the service, including sending photos to our AI provider for analysis. Only upload photos you have the right to use.
5. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service, scrape it, reverse engineer it, bypass scan limits or the paywall, or access it by automated means outside the app.
6. Free and Premium
The free plan includes a limited number of AI scans. Premium is a paid subscription at $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year (local prices may differ), billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store and renewing automatically until you cancel. Manage or cancel it in your store account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. There is no free trial. Deleting your Ambrosia account does not cancel your subscription.
If you are a consumer in the EU you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase. Because purchases are processed by Google Play and Apple, refund and withdrawal requests are handled through them under their policies.
7. Availability and changes
We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on estimated nutrition data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish or EU consumer law.
10. Governing law
Danish law applies and disputes go to the Danish courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
